ABS-CBN’S LIVE SONA COVERAGE LEADS NATIONAL TV RATINGS. More Filipinos tuned in to ABS-CBN’s live coverage of President Benigno ‘Noynoy’ Aquino III’s third State of the Nation Address last Monday (July 23) at the Batasang Pambansa. ABS-CBN’s “Ulat sa Bayan: Ang Ika-3 SONA ni Pangulong Benigno S. Aquino III” scored a national TV rating of 15%, or almost six points higher than GMA’s “SONA 2012” with only 9.2%, based on data from Kantar Media that covers urban and rural areas in the country. Veteran broadcast journalist Korina Sanchez anchored the live coverage from the studio, while Lynda Jumilla led other ABS-CBN news reporters in delivering fresh updates before and after the SONA straight from Batasan. ABS-CBN’s media platforms Studio 23, ANC, and DZMM TeleRadyo also delivered live coverages of the SONA to free TV and cable TV subscribers.

Mas tinutukan ng publiko ang live coverage ng ABS-CBN ng ikatlong State of the Nation Address (SONA) ni Pangulong Benigno ‘Noynoy’ Aquino III noong Lunes (July 23) sa Batasang Pambansa. Nagkamit ng 15% national TV rating ang “Ulat sa Bayan: Ang Ika-3 SONA ni Pangulong Benigno S. Aquino III” ng ABS-CBN, o mas mataas ng halos anim na puntos laban sa 9.2% lamang ng “SONA 2012” ng GMA, base sa datos ng Kantar Media na sakop ang parehong urban at rural areas sa bansa. Pinangunahan ng mamamahayag na si Korina Sanchez ang live coverage mula sa studio habang si Lynda Jumilla naman, kasama ang ibang news reporters ng ABS-CBN ang tumutok sa mga pinakasariwang kaganapan bago at matapos ang SONA mula sa Batasan. Naghatid din ng live coverage ng SONA ang Studio 23 sa free TV at ang ANC at DZMM TeleRadyo naman sa cable TV.
