ABS-CBN remains as network of choice for news and entertainment in November

ABS-CBN is still the most watched network in the country for relevant news and values-laden stories in November after it garnered an average audience share of 46%, or 12 points higher  versus GMA’s 34%, according to data from Kantar Media.

The Kapamilya network beat its rival network in every part of the country, particularly in Mega Manila where it scored an average audience share of 37%, compared to GMA’s 34% and in Metro Manila where it registered 41% versus GMA’s 27%. ABS-CBN also captivated viewers in Total Luzon as it hit 44%, while GMA only got 35%; in Total Visayas as it recorded 54%, compared to GMA’s 27%; and in Total Minadanao where it garnered 49%, beating GMA’s 34%.

Multinational audience measurement provider Kantar Media uses a nationwide panel size of 2,610 urban and rural homes that represent 100% of the total Philippine TV viewing population.

“FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” (41.1%) ruled the list of the most watched programs in November as the series took the action up a notch, as Cardo (Coco Martin) prepares to face his mortal enemies to avenge his son’s death.

Viewers also tuned in to the revelations in “La Luna Sangre” (33.8%), which recently impressed audiences with the thrilling confrontation scene between Malia (Kathryn Bernardo) and Jacintha (Angel Locsin) and drew praises from netizens.

“TV Patrol” (33.7%) also remained as the most watched newscast in the country with its timely news and public service.

The talented kids of “Little Big Shots” also impressed viewers for the whole month as the show recorded 30.2%.

Janella Salvador and Elmo Magalona’s comeback series “Wansapanataym Presents: Jasmin’s Flower Powers” (29.8%), which premiered last month, instantly captivated and brought lessons to viewers. “MMK 25” (27.1%) also remained as a source of inspiration through the real-life experiences of its letter senders.

The gripping scenes of “Wildflower” (25.5%), on the other hand, kept audiences on the edge of their seats, as the face-off between Lily Cruz (Maja Salvador) and Helena Montoya (Zsa Zsa Padilla) continues to intensify.

Also part of the list are comedy shows “Home Sweetie Home” (25.3%) and “Goin’ Bulilit” (23.4%), which continue to bring laughter and good vibes to viewers nationwide.

Meanwhile, ABS-CBN also ruled across all time blocks, particularly in primetime where the Kapamilya network recorded an average audience share of 51%, or 19 points higher compared to GMA’s 32%. The primetime block is the most important part of the day when most Filipinos watch TV and advertisers put a larger chunk of their investment in to reach more consumers effectively.
