ABS-CBN rises in Jobstreet’s top 10 companies list

Top media company for Filipino jobseekers

ABS-CBN Corporation is the only media company in the top ten companies to work for in the Philippines based on the JobStreet.com 2017 survey. Now on its fourth consecutive year in the list, ABS-CBN also rose to the 8th place after being ranked 10th in 2016.

According to the survey, respondents see the Kapamilya network as an organization where they can achieve job stability through career-growth opportunities, training and development, competitive benefits, and strong management and leadership.

ABS-CBN vice president for Corporate Recruitment Arlyn Fausto added jobseekers are drawn to the country’s leading media and entertainment company because of what it stands for.

“Our applicants really rely on ABS-CBN for employment simply because of its very strong sense of mission: In the Service of the Filipino wherever they may be. They resonate well with that,” she said.

This year’s survey respondents consider job security as their topmost priority, a shift from last year’s top reason—competitive basic salary—indicating that Filipinos are now more interested in long-term gains.

Joining ABS-CBN in the top ten are Manila Electric Co. at number one, followed by San Miguel Corporation, Google Philippines, Nestle Philippines, Accenture, BDO Unibank, Procter and Gamble, with PLDT Inc. and Unilever ranked 9th and 10th, respectively, after ABS-CBN.

The survey, which was conducted in May 2017, had 3,658 respondents with different position levels (from fresh graduates to upper management) and specializations.

ABS-CBN, PASOK SA TOP 10 NA KUMPANYA SA PILIPINAS AYON SA JOBSTREET

Tanging ABS-CBN lang ang media company na pumasok sa sampung kompanya sa Pilipinas na pinakanananais pagtrabahuhan ng mga Pilipino, ayon sa survey na ginawa ng Jobstreet.com ngayong 2017.

Apat na sunod-sunod na taong nasa top 10 ang ABS-CBN na umangat pa sa pang-walong pwesto ngayong taon, mula ika-sampu noong 2016.

Ayon sa survey, nakikita ng mga tao ang ABS-CBN bilang isang organisasyon kung saan maaari silang magkaroon ng matatag na pagta-trabaho dahil sa maraming oportunidad na ibinibigay nito para mapaunlad ang karera at kakayahan ng mga empleyado, may magandang benepisyo, at mahusay na pamamalakad at pamumuno.

“Talagang umaasa ang mga aplikante sa ABS-CBN para sa trabaho dahil tumatatak sa kanila ang paninindigan ng kumpanya sa misyon nitong paglingkuran ang mga Pilipino saan man sila naroroon,” ani Arlyn Fausto, vice president para sa Corporate Recruitment ng ABS-CBN.
Sabi pa sa survey, kung dati ang laki ng sweldo ang pinakamahalaga para sa mga aplikante, ngayon ang seguridad ng trabaho ang kanilang tinitignan. Pinapakita lang na mas interesado na ang mga aplikante ngayon sa kanilang makukuha sa pangmatagalan.

Kasama ng ABS-CBN sa top ten ang Manila Electric Co. sa unang pwesto, na sinundan ng San Miguel Corporation, Google Philippines, Nestle Philippines, Accenture, BDO Unibank, Procter and Gamble, habang nasa ika-siyam at ika-sampung pwesto naman ang PLDT Inc. at Unilever.

Ginawa ang survey noong Mayo 2017 sa 3,658 katao kabilang ang mga bagong graduate, mga nasa mataas na posisyon na, at mga espesyalista sa iba-ibang larangan.
