ABS-CBN TIES UP WITH AYALA MALLS FOR FIRST ABS-CBN EXPERIENCE STORE

ABS-CBN Corporation, the country’s largest media and entertainment company, will give its followers an immersive experience of its shows, characters, and stories as it tied up with Ayala Malls, the premier lifestyle mall in the country, to open the first ABS-CBN Experience Store in Trinoma Mall in Quezon City in 2017.

ABS-CBN president and CEO Carlo Katigbak and chief operating officer of broadcast Cory Vidanes signed the agreement with Ayala Land head of commercial business, Jose Emmanuel Jalandoni and Ayala Malls group head Rowena Tomeldan.

“The ABS-CBN Experience Store is the start of a strategic and long term partnership between ABS-CBN and Ayala Malls as the two companies known for innovation and excellence in their respective fields complement each other, with ABS-CBN delivering various ways for viewers to experience the stories and characters that Kapamilyas have come to love and Ayala opening fresh and exciting retail experiences through its malls all over the Philippines,” said Katigbak.

Meanwhile, Vidanes said, at the heart of the experience store are the characters and stories that ABS-CBN will bring to life—whether through immersive or digital attractions, games, and merchandise—and give visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of their favorite shows.

The ABS-CBN Experience store offers an immersive experience of the Kapamilya network by allowing visitors to be part of the shows they follow and play the roles they’ve always wanted to play. Also to be showcased is ABS-CBN’s wide assortment of merchandise that allows customers to own a piece of the Kapamilya stories they follow. The experience store will also be the hub of events that will allow people of all ages to spend time with their favorite Kapamilya stars.

The ABS-CBN Experience Store is the newest addition to the company’s consumer business, falling under the ticketed experiences category. ABS-CBN has been giving its followers chances to experience the company in other forms such as movies, concerts, mall events, and studio tours, and the recently launched mini-theme park Kidzania.

“Ang ABS-CBN Experience Store ay ang simula ng isang matagal na samahan ng ABS-CBN at Ayala Malls dahil and dalawang kumpanya na kilala sa innovation at excellence ay tugma sa kanilang layunin, ang ABS-CBN na nagdadala ng paraan para ma-enjoy ng manonood at maranasan ang mga kwento, karakter na minahal, at nakasanayan na ng mga Kapamilya at ang Ayala Land naman na nagbubukas ng bago at kapanapanabik ng retail experiences sa pamamagitan ng kanilang mga malls sa buoing Pilipinas,” sinabi ni Katigbak.

Samantala, sinabi ni Vidanes na nasa puso ng experience store ang mga karakter at kwento na bibigyang buhay ng ABS-CBN—sa pamamagitan ng immersive o digital attractions, games, at merchandise—at bibigyan ang mga bisita nito ng pagkakataong maranasan ang mundo ng kanilang paboritong mga palabas.

Sa pamamagitan ng ABS-CBN Experience Store, ang mga manonood may mayroon nang paraan para maranasan at maging bahagi sila ng mga palabas na kanilang tinatangkilik at gampanan ang mga papel na matagal na nilang gustong gampanan. Maiuuwi rin nila ang mga bahagi ng kanilang paboritong palabas sa pamamagitan ng iba’t ibang ABS-CBN store merchandise. Maaasahan rin ang iba’t ibang pagtataghal sa experience store na lalung maglalapit sa mga manonood sa kanilang paboritong mga Kapamilya stars.

Ang ABS-CBN Experience Store ay ang pinakabagong bahagi ng kalakal ng ABS-CBN na pang-consumer sa ilalim ngticketed experiences category.
