More than 4,000 students around Mega Manila will soon have access to educational learning programs available on ABS-CBN TVplus’ YeY and Knowledge Channel, as the “Bida Best School Tour” recently kicked off.

The “Bida Best School Tour” is making the rounds of public schools to help make learning fun while giving back to elementary school students. The first leg of the tour happened at the CAA Elementary School in Las Piñas, with the second leg taking place at Landayan Elementary School in Laguna.

Sam Shoaf and Raven Cajuguiran, two of “Team YeY’s” hosts, headed to Las Piñas on July 14, while fellow hosts AJ Urquia and Raven Cajuguiran went to Laguna on July 21. The “Team YeY” hosts engaged more than 500 students in each school with song and dance numbers and learning activities. They also joined the kids in friendly Charades where winners won exclusive Team YeY merchandise.

Select students also participated in the “Knowledge on the Go” segment on stage.  Kids enjoyed answering Science, Math, English and Filipinos questions, while their co-students in the audience learned from this fun Q&A.  To play the game, student participants are asked to roll the dice and answer a question based on different subject categories, and win prizes for participating.

At the end of each program, the schools were given an ABS-CBN TVplus box to give students and teachers access to the rich educational materials available on YeY and Knowledge Channel via digital TV. Following the first and second leg of the school tour, the ABS-CBN TVplus’ “Bida Best School Tour” will head to more public schools in Laguna, Pampanga, Malabon, Pampanga, Pasig, Rizal, and Bulacan.
