Jeepney TV’s month-long tribute to Dolphy, The King of Comedy, continues this week with back-to-back episodes of one of the most popular favorite teleseryes in the country, “Home Along Da Riles”.
The Philippines’ very own King of Comedy, Dolphy, keeps the laughter alive as Jeepney TV revisits the ABS-CBN documentary “Dolphy: Hari ng Komedya” this Sunday (July 7).
The best of Dolphy’s most popular stints in the entertainment industry are once again to be revived on Jeepney TV this July in celebration of his 85th birthday and in honor of his undying contribution to the world of Philippine comedy.
Serving as an example and as inspiration to many in the entertainment industry, Jeepney TV celebrates the unique talents of Judy Ann Santos in the original Jeepney TV special, “Judy Ann Santos: Her Royal Journey on TV”—detailing her young beginnings all the way up to her much-anticipated return to the acting scene in her upcoming teleserye, “Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala”.
Jeepney TV, home of the Pinoys’ best-loved TV classics and only cable channel of its kind, honors Edgar “Bobot” Mortiz for his nearly 50 years in entertainment with a special entitled “Goin’ For Gold” on the channel’s “Let’s Go Linggo” program.
Jeepney TV’s first local production of 2013 reunites the men behind the testosterone-laden hit “Whattamen” – actors Dominic Ochoa, Marvin Agustin, Vhong Navarro and John Pratts, with the Comedy Queen herself, Ms. Ai Ai de Las Alas and writer Jose Javier Reyes for a night filled with travelling down memory lane.
Pairs are in style in the love month of February and JEEPNEY TV is in for the ride as it launches a double-header – the romantic-comedy sitcom “Chika Chika Chicks” and the family-centered musical and gag show “Arriba! Arriba!”
