Geje Eustaquio headlines One Championship’s “Total Victory” on ABS-CBN S+A

Geje “Gravity” Eustaquio climbs onto the ONE Championship mixed martial arts (MMA) cage this Saturday (September 16) looking for “Total Victory” in the fight card he’s headlining with former flyweight king Kairat Akhmetov of Kazakhstan that will air LIVE from the Jakarta Convention Center in Jakarta, Indonesia starting at 9:30pm on ABS-CBN S+A and S+A HD.

Eustaquio (9-5), who hails from Mark Sangiao’s legendary Team Lakay stable, promises to stay true to his moniker and plans to suck the gravity out of the building when he faces the explosive ground tactician in Akhmetov (20-1; 10 submissions) in the main event of ONE’s latest card. The “Gravity” is coming off a huge win against rival Anatpong Bunrad in ONE’s “Dynasty of Heroes” last May and looks to set up a title match with current flyweight kingpin Adriano Moraes, who gave him one of his losses.

“I want this win. I want to have a remarkable winning result, and then I want to move forward onto that flyweight belt. I am back in the main event. My next goal is to be back in the title hunt,” he stressed.

Akhmetov for his part looks to bounce back from his loss to Moraes last month and recapture his place among ONE’s flyweights. Fans and analysts alike are looking at how the Kazakh will respond to the first-ever blemish on his record after reeling in victories left and right.

Aside from the Team Lakay stalwart, other Filipinos taking part in the card are Roy Doliguez (6-4) going against Brazil’s Yago Bryan (3-2) in an attempt to arrest a three-match skid, and Ramon Gonzales (1-2) who will fight China’s Liu Deligerihu Lu (1-1) in the undercard.

Don’t miss the explosive cage battles headlined by our very own Filipino MMA fighters this Saturday (September 16) at 9:30pm LIVE from the Jakarta Convention Center in Jakarta, Indonesia in ONE Championship’s “Total Victory” only on S+A and S+A HD.

“Gusto kong ipanalo ‘to.

A at S+A HD simula 9:30pm.
