NCAA Volley Final Four goes LIVE on ABS-CBN S+A

The NCAA Season 93 Women’s Volleyball Tournament has advanced to the Final Four stage and ABS-CBN S+A is bringing the action LIVE from the San Juan Arena on Friday (February 9) at 2 pm.

Defending champion Arellano University Lady Chiefs (AU) and the San Beda University Lady Red Spikers (SBU) grabbed the top two spots in the elimination round for a twice-to-beat advantage over the third and fourth seeds, the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta Lady Altas (UPHSD) and the Jose Rizal University Lady Bombers (JRU).

San Beda and Perpetual take the floor first this Friday (February 9) at 2 pm, with Lady Red Spikers star Ces Racraquin leading the charge with the help of Satrianni Espiritu and Jiezela Viray to bring their crew back into the Finals. The Lady Altas troika of Lourdes Clemente, Necelle Gual, and Marijo Medalla, however, look to buck their disadvantage.

At 4 pm, the Lady Chiefs, anchored by a veteran crew led by star Jovielyn Prado, Andrea Marzan, and Regine Rocha are looking for a back-to-back trip to the Finals against JRU, which relied on the strength of Shola Alvarez, last season’s Best Opposite Spiker Karen Montojo, and Dolly Versoza to beat the LPU Lady Pirates and prevent a three-way tie.

If any of the lower seeds force a rubber match, game day will be next Tuesday (February 13), otherwise, it will be the start of the battle for the NCAA Women’s Volleyball diadem.

With an 8-1 card in the eliminations, Arellano looks unstoppable in its quest for a second consecutive crown, but with higher stakes now, fans can expect the three other semifinalists to put up a fight for the chance to win it all.

Don’t miss the heart-pounding hardcourt action of the Women’s Volleyball Tournament’s Final Four matches between SBU and UPHSD at 2 pm followed by the AU-JRU tiff at 4 pm on Friday (February 9) LIVE on S+A, S+A HD, and via livestream on sports.abs-cbn.com.
