Rocky Gathercole’s creations take the spotlight on Lifestyle TV

Banta Bata 20th Anniversary featuring Rocky Gathercole

Fundraising fashion show for Bantay Bata 163’s 20th year

A grand spectacle of Filipino-made couture takes center stage as Lifestyle TV airs the Bantay Bata 163 30th Anniversary Special, a fundraising event featuring renowned international designer Rocky Gathercole, this Saturday (September 9).

The Hollywood-famous fashion artist, known for dressing big celebrities such as Katy Perry, Paris Hilton, Lady Gaga and Britney Spears, showcased his avant-garde designs in the one night affair held recently at the Philippine International Convention Center.

Guests were treated to an ultra-chic fashion show with Kapamilya stars Ian Veneracion and Bea Alonzo joining models on the runway wearing designs made by the Dubai-based couturier. The “A Love to Last” actress wore a stunning, show-stopping gown from the celebrity designer’s wedding collection.

Aside from the sneak peek to the best works of Rocky’s atalier, performances from Darren Espanto, Martin Nievera, and Sharon Cuneta, together with the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra and Maestro Gerard Salonga, also made the evening one-of-its-kind.

The Bantay Bata 163’s anniversary dinner and show was presented by Metro Society and Lifestyle TV, in cooperation with Pass-It-Forward and Quezon City Government, to raise money and awareness about its new projects. Bantay Bata 163 is one of the three flagship programs of the ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation, Inc.’s (ALKFI) for the Filipino children.

Watch The Bantay Bata 20th Anniversary Special on “Lifestyle Presents” this Saturday (September 9) at 10pm, with replays on Sunday (Sept. 10) at 9am and 8pm.
