VHONG, CARMINA, AND LOUISE’S “NATO DE COCO” DEBUTS AS NUMBER 1 SUNDAY SHOW IN PHL

Vhong Navarro, Carmina Villarroel, and Louise Abuel will fill the month of August with magic and important values as they star in the newest 'Wansapanataym' special titled 'Nato de Coco'ABS-CBN’s newest “Wansapanataym” special starring Vhong Navarro, Carmina Villarroel, and Louise Abuel titled “Nato de Coco” debuted as the most-watched Sunday program in the Philippines according to data from Kantar Media last Sunday (August 3).

“Wansapanataym Presents Nato de Coco” scored a national TV rating of 26.5%, or almost eight points higher than its rival program in GMA “Ismol Family” (18.6%).

Meanwhile, “Wansapanataym” will double up the fun and adventure for kids and families this weekend (August 9 and 10) as the original storybook of Filipino kids airs on its new timeslots every Saturday at 7:15PM, and Sunday at 7:00PM.

In the continuation of “Wansapanataym Presents Nato de Coco,” Oca’s (Vhong) life begins to change after he abandoned his wife and son for his career as a basketball player. However, despite his longing for his son’s forgiveness, Oca fails to make it up to Nato (Louise) because of a tragic accident. Can Oca still manage to reconcile with his family when he’s given the chance to be with them as a coconut?

Also featured in “Nato de Coco” are Ella Cruz, Joshua Dionisio, Epi Quizon, and Yogo Singh. It is written by Noreen Capili and directed by Lino Cayetano.

Produced by Dreamscape Entertainment Television, the original storybook for Filipino kids, “Wansapanataym,” is ABS-CBN’s longest-running and most-awarded fantasy-drama anthology.

Pinakapinanood na Sunday program sa buong bansa ang unang episode ng “Wansapanataym” special nina Vhong Navarro, Carmina Villarroel, at Louise Abuel na pinamagatang “Nato de Coco.” Patunay dito ang datos mula sa Kantar Media noong Linggo (Agosto 3) kung kailan nanguna sa listahan ng most watched TV programs sa Pilipinas ang pilot telecast nito taglay ang national TV rating na 26.5%, o halos walong puntos na kalamangan kumpara sa katapat nitong programa sa GMA na “Ismol Family” (18.6%).

Samantala, mas magiging panalo sa TV viewers ang dobleng kasiyahan na ihahatid ng “Wansapanataym” simula ngayong weekend (Agosto 9 at 10) dahil mapapanood na ang original storybook ng batang Pinoy sa bago nitong timeslot tuwing Sabado sa ganap na alas-7:15 ng gabi at Linggo sa ganap na alas-7 ng gabi.

Sa pagpapatuloy ng “Wansapanataym Presents Nato de Coco,” magsisimula nang magbago ang buhay ni Oca (Vhong) matapos niyang iwan ang kanyang asawa’t anak para sa kanyang karera bilang isang basketball player. Ngunit sa kabila ng kanyang kagustuhan na makabawi sa anak na si Nato (Louise) ay hindi na magagawa ni Oca na humingi dito ng tawad dahil sa isang malagim na aksidente. Makababawi pa ba si Oca kay Nato kapag nabigyan siya ng isa pang pagkakataon na makasama ito bilang isang buko?
